I have just checked in a change that may be relevant. r6590 introduced a defect that meant the rig mode, and therefore the bandwidth in the case of the TenTec Omni VII, would be set by WSJT-X when "Settings->Radio->Mode" was "None". The rig mode should not be touched by WSJT-X if "Settings->Radio->Mode" is "None", that should be true again since r6597.
