Attached is a patch which adds the config name and gets rid of the "version"
info which is already available in the About box.
I think you're right it's much more informative.

A request/suggestion: Could a full-time display of the 'currently selected
configuration name' be added to the main WSJT-X window?
I normally run MSK144 on 6 and 2 meters and I am using the new 'save power
settings' feature because my IC-746PRO does not have separate power settings by
band. So I have a configuration that is MSK144 on 6 meters, with the proper
power setting for my 6 meter amp, and another configuration for MSK144 on 2
meters, with the proper power setting for my 2 meter amp. I also have
configurations for ISCAT, JT65, and JT9, and plan to add appropriate power
settings for those modes to the configurations.
The 'problem' is that it takes two mouse clicks to open, then close, the
configuration popup window, just to find out which configuration is currently
selected. It would be most helpful to me if there were a full time display of
the currently selected configuration name.
