Thanks for confirming. 

I have tested with “Enable VHF/UHF/Microwave features’ disabled - then don’t 
get the crash. 
I have always run with it enabled till now as my station is for 144MHz.

I see I lose ‘Sh; Submode; Sync; Clear Avg” when this is disabled.

Ah. Based on Bill?s clue, I tried checking the ?Enable VHF/UHF/Microwave 
features? option, and now I see the crash that was described by Gary and Keith.
