HI Joe, that moves things on a bit. I can now install and run map65 but I get a message box with: --------------------------- --------------------------- Cannot open c:/JTSDK/map65/install/Release/bin/azel.dat --------------------------- OK --------------------------- which keeps coming back instantly so I can only exit by killing the map65 process. The map65.exe executable appears not to be a windows application i.e. no winmain which is handy as the console window that opens can be killed to kill the process, probably not desirable on later releases. I still don't see a qt.conf file in the package, I think this is essential for any user that does not have the Qt development package installed. You may have a qt.conf in the built in resources, I can't check that, but if not then the default path to load plugins is <executable-directory>/plugins and the platform plugin must be in a sub-directory of that called platform/ . 73 Bill G4WJS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, SlashDot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ wsjt-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel
