This is not so much a bug report as a GUI cosmetic report.
Wide Graph Window
The bottom panel with the spectrum and waterfall controls does not
present enough margin between the panel and the window edge. Resizing
the window resizes the controls but does not provide the correct
margins. Not all of the controls show fully. The margin and padding
should be increased for that panel in relation to the central widget.
Environment:
Hardware:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0 Ghz X 2
Intel graphics series 4 integrated graphics chipset
Display Res: 1280x1024
Linux Mint 18.2 64-bit
Cinnamon v3.4.6
Kernel 4.10.0-37-generic
GNOME in gtk+ mode theme w/borderless windows
I have no particular diagnosis of the cosmetic GUI issue you see using
Linux Mint with GNOME in gtk+ mode, borderless windows, etc. As you
probably know, making the WSJT-X (or indeed any) GUI look "exactly
right" in all of the platforms we support is a nontrivial task.
I've attached a screen shot of the WSJT-X Wide Graph window, taken on my
Ubuntu box. As you can see, it looks pretty good.
If you're into such things, please feel free to recommend specific
changes to file widegraph.ui that we might consider.
