If this were Qt Framework, I would say the stylesheets are not scalable.
If some other framework (like wxWidgets or FastLight) it could be some
gtk+ issue.
As you must know if you've looked at the WSJT-X User Guide, the program
is built around the Qt Framework. In general we find the stylesheets
work as they should.
However, as I wrote before: making the GUI look "exactly right" in all
supported platforms (Windows, OS X, many flavors of Linux, etc.) is not
trivial. If you conclude that your cosmetic issue is important, we'll
address it in due course.
