Problem solved.  I looked over the information on the waterfall wide graph
window and noticed that the "FLATTEN" button was open while the "RF SPEC"
was checked.  Somehow, I must have unchecked the FLATTEN button while
switching to JTAlert-X to catch a CQ station.  Once I checked FLATTEN,
signals appeared on the waterfall.  RF SPEC seems to be a
yet-to-be-implemented function so everything is blank if it is selected.
Recommend it be GRAYED OUT to avoid mistakes.

At least all drivers are up-to-date, K3 software is still current, and
soundcard is healthy.
