I believe Serge is concerned that his FT4 contacts won't get matched to
other FT4 contacts in LOTW... though, LOTW directly accepts .adif files
generated by WSJT-X, there should be no issue with contacts matching, since
everyone's using the same software, all of which follows the ADIF standards
set by committee...
So.. if WSJT-X (which conforms to the ADIF standard) generates an .adif
entry in the local log with MODE=MFSK and SUBMODE=FT4, and that gets
uploaded with TQSL (which also conforms to the ADIF standard) to LOTW's
databases (which also conform to the ADIF standard), then... when will
contacts NOT match? Never; as long as the data is the same from the two
uploads, the contacts will always match.
FT8 contacts match all other FT8 contacts.
CW contacts match all other CW contacts.
EVERY bit of software we use to create, log, upload, store, and compare our
contacts conforms to the ADIF standard, so all contacts with the same date,
time, mode, and signal reports will match.

There will be no lost matches...

..unless you're wanting FT8 and FT4 contacts to match, in which case, I
think you're going to be disappointed.
