Same issue on Both macOS 10.15.5 as well as Windows 10 64bit version 2004. Using FT991, tested on both as had wondered if it was just the MAC. The Yaesu appears to be the common denominator for me. Audio works normal, but CAT control is broken. When I click on “Test CAT” the error message “Rig failure Hamlib error…” occurs. Connection via OmniRig still works well. BUT: Yesterday I compiled a WSJT-X v2.2.0 version based on rc3, using the old hamlib version which came with 2.1.2: Result: No such Hamlib error! With that, my FT991 can connect via normal Com Port. Just installed the 2.2.0 GA on Windows 10 and receive "Hamlib error: Invalid parameter while getting current frequency". Radio - FT991A. Also, no display on the waterfall but shows activity in the decode list. Previous versions worked fine and JTDX still works normally.
