Really?  Doesn't seem like the copyright notice says that.I thought WSJT-X was
GPL?

Hi Folks,

The FT-991 now works with WSJTX 2.2.0 with Mike and Nate’s latest patches. I
have not fully tested split modes etc. yet though !

I have also a background report, based off my compile, that FT-891 now works.
Some will not directly post here.

Perhaps current packaged releases should be pulled down temporarily from the
Princeton site? [ OR at least an advisory posted that Yaesu and some Kenwood
hardware users may experience issues … but new versions will be posted when
libraries stabilise ? ]

Steve,

please do not redistribute WSJT-X, that is in breach of our copyright. It is OK
to build WSJT-X from sources for personal use. We will make a patch release
when we are satisfied the some regressions are repaired, not before.
