Bill,

  * please do not redistribute WSJT-X, that is in breach of our copyright.

Now where on Earth did you get that idea from and where has this come from
???????????????????

Can you please provide a link to code that I have distributed?

Here again is my post:

  *   Hi Folks,

  * The FT-991 now works with WSJTX 2.2.0 with Mike and Nate’s latest patches.
  * I have not fully tested split modes etc. yet though !

  * I have also a background report, based off my compile, that FT-891 now
works.
  * Some will not directly post here.

Ahh now I see: “Based off My Compile”... So where have I openly distributed
compiled code? A long bow has been drawn here.

Some time back I asked simple one-line question on development environments and
got “spanked” back. These “spanks” have evolved into adapting The JTSDK 3.1 to
work under current conditions - as it requires maintenance now under terms that
preserve Greg Beam KI7MT’s IP as Greg is unable to contribute at the moment.

I concentrate on the HAM – Help All Mankind – ideals of teaching others how to
use and manipulate the JTSDK and also to learn from your code (and generally to
program for AR in Qt).

There is no open distribution of what I do as that is POINTLESS !!!! Nobody
learns form this ! You know this !

This statement in this context was uncalled for and is exceptionally unhelpful
for the advancement of Amateur Radio. People contributing here are at the
forefront of AR. People chatter by a magnitude of 10 behind the scenes as they
see others being “spanked” in the open and fear being “spanked” themselves.

Wouldn’t leadership encouraging safety-in-contribution be better rather than
spanking those genuinely trying to assist and advance AR?

  * Perhaps current packaged releases should be pulled down temporarily from
the
  * Princeton site? [ OR at least an advisory posted that Yaesu and some
Kenwood
  * hardware users may experience issues … but new versions will be posted
when

libraries stabilise ? ]

This is a fair and reasonable request. The confusion and grief created is
considerable.

Please pull the distros down until HAMLIB is fully stabilised.
