Hi,

Two tiered request, I think the first should be relatively easy:

Use case:
For portable stations it would be really great to not have to sync your
clock super accurately. I know there's already tolerance in WSJT, but it
couldn't hurt to be able to more closely control this within the software
itself.

Proposal:
Add an adjustment that allows you to manually adjust an offset to the
system clock. Being able to simply enter +/- seconds at the 100ths of a
second would be helpful, ie: "-2.3s" or "+0.9s"

This would allow most users to sync to the received stations and not have
to deal with an external clock sync source. One can argue you can do this
with the system clock, however in my case I have Windows 10 running WSJT in
a VM on a MAC (for reasons, I know, dont say just use the software on the
mac itself) but it will constantly overwrite the VM clock.

Second proposal:
Based on received signals, have a checkbox in addition to the above
control, to automatically adjust the software clock offset to the system
clock. I'm going to oversimplify the implementation, but again, based on
the average received stations clock offset from your system clock,
automatically adjust the offset to match the received stations.

Thanks!
David
