Michael,
I've got FT-991A on Ubuntu 20.04, 64 bit, wsjt-x 2.5.1. I haven't
grabbed 2.5.2 yet.
Rig split is working fine for me.
The only issue I've had seems to have now disappeared but since it was
only sporadic I may just have been lucky so far.
That issue has been that sometimes when switching from an FT-8
configuration using split mode to a WSPR configuration using non-split,
sometimes split mode would persist on the rig instead of switching back
to single VFOA. Then the rig would perform transmit cycles using VFOB,
which doesn't get programmed to the WSPR frequency. So far on 2.5.1, I
haven't seen this when switching to WSPR.

I need any Yaesu owners to state their rig model and whether or not
"Rig split" works in WSJT-X or if you see flashing on the rig when Rig
split is turned on.
So 3 questions
#1 Can you make QSOs?
#2 Does rig operation look smooth? Should be a little activity as
freq & mode get set on both VFOs but it I'd like to know if the
display goes a little nuts when it's happening with Rx/Tx flickering
or such.
