Many thanks Charlie

Done some further testing this morning and I think I have a partial
explanation/solution.

Windows 10

WSJT-X rc2

QMAP

SDRC

RSPDx

No moon to play with at the moment, but just played with hitting “Tune” in
WSJT-X.

If the auto-mute in DRC is off, then there is no problem. The QMAP thermometer
reads ~48db.

If auto-mute is on, AND the Peak and Mean options are set to -20db or lower,
then QMAP does not recover when going to receive. Thermometer is zero. Have to
exit and reload QMAP then OK.

BUT, if Peak and Mean set to 0db, then after transmit QMAP returns to receive
as normal.

Will be interesting to see if you can duplicate.

Hi David

As far as I know, this hasn't been reported before.

I've been running SDRC to drive QMAP now for some time here, pretty much since
SDRC build 3117 came out, and also haven't seen this behaviour.

The only problem I had, at first, was to have SDRC's demodulated audio
outputting to the same audio 'port' as WSJT-X uses for transmitting, cured by
muting SDRC. It did not result in loss of signal to QMAP as you are seeing.

What level do you see on QMAP's thermometer normally?

What operating system are you running?

I am using rc2, SDRconsole with RSPDx, and QMAP

Today, all was running fine. I clicked on a station in “Active stations”, and
WSJT-x took me to transmit, and the QSO ran as normal.

However, after my first transmit period, on return to receive, QMAP was showing
no input signal, whilst SDRconsole was displaying normally. WSJT-x was working
normally. I closed QMAP, and re-opened it, then it was working again.

I obviously need to try again a few more times, but didn’t have time today.

Any thoughts?
