This is using the Flex API to communicate directly to the radio with out the need to use SSDR CAT. ( SSDR CAT provides translation from CAT commands to Flex API. ) Each hamlib 'Slice X' has a different API commands that are slice specific. And they all ( indeed all api's ) go through the radio's 4992 port.

If you use the hamlib Flex slice rig selection there is no need to use SSDR CAT for WSJT.

Isn't the port necessary when you run more than one slice?  I often will run slice 1 and slice 3, so how would that work, considering that SmartSDR CAT expects a port number for each slice.

It will be in tonight's build.

I added a bit more to it....since the port is unnecessary as I don't think you can change this in SmartSDR.

Hamlib error: rig_open: Do not use 127.0.0.1 for SmartSDR. Network Server entry needs to be the Radio's IP address, no port necessary
