Is there a way to drive IE with watir on a remote machine as a windows
service (without interactive desktop session)?

We started to migrate to watir-webdriver late 2011, almost done now. But
our experience with IEDriver at that point was not awesome. As far as I can
recall one of the issues was that IEDriver could not handle untrusted
certificate page anyhow. Very slow performance was second I can remember.
Overall there were few other things which left not a pleasant experience
compared to watir.

We might have a look at this again soon. Sorry for dummy question. Is there
a way to drive IE with watir on a remote machine as a windows service
(without interactive desktop session)? If yes, I would vote for using Watir
as IE driver for now.
