Subject: RE: [WTW] Repo Survey
Please
1.
No. While we think it's important to either garnish wages or repo the car to
show a consequence to non-payment, we don't want to put time & energy into
making people's credit report worse.
2.
Haven't had the opportunity yet. The one car that was reposessed was in bad
shape.
3.
So far, we've reposessed two cars and it wasn't really worth the cost. We have
used outside businesses to do reposession and disposal. At this point, I'm
favoring wage garnishment whenever possible, but I'm interested to hear from
other programs that have more experience in this area.

Hi all!
I would appreciate your input on the
following:
1) At some point, after repoing a car, do
you/your lending partner, report the repo to a CRA to get it on the
defaulted borrower's credit
report?
If you don't, please tell me why not?
2) Do you offer cars you have repoed to your
borrowers?
3) What have you found to be the best way to
dispose of a car you have repoed in order to get the most dollars out
of it?
Thanks,
Dave Dougherty
