Thanks for the response Dave. From what I understand Xerces 3.0 already supports vs 2005 and that's good - so we can move to xerces 3.0.

If you want to help expedite the release, you can volunteer to help with sorting out the Xerces-C build issues. There have been several discussions on the Xerces-C Developer list on this very subject.
