Thanks for the response Dave. From what I understand Xerces 3.0 already
supports vs 2005 and that's good - so we can move to xerces 3.0.

Now the question is for xalan - if we move to xerces 3.0 what version of
xalan should we use - when will xalan support xerces 3.0?

Xalan-C cannot release until Xerces-C has released, so there's nothing
we 
can do.  If you want to help expedite the release, you can volunteer to 
help with sorting out the Xerces-C build issues.  There have been
several 
discussions on the Xerces-C Developer list on this very subject.
