Open Xastir

Click on "File"

Click on "Configure"

Click on "Timing"

Set "Posit TX Interval (min)" SLIDER to your desired beaconing rate. I
have mine set to 60.0 which is the max for that slider and the best for
a fixed station.

Then click on the "OK" button at the bottom of the Timing window to save
the settings.
