Newer AMD and Intel processors have a frequency scaling feature. Start a heavy CPU-intensive task and check again, it should show 2.6GHz. It scales the CPU clock speed to save power when idling. _______________________________________________ Xastir mailing list [email protected] http://lists.xastir.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/xastir
