Hmm, somehow I missed that page, should have googled more diligently...
Unfortunately the rules seem to be quite specific about the SoundCloud logo
not being part of the plugin logo: "don't (...) use official versions of the
SoundCloud logos in the logo of your application or site". However, he let
me keep the plugin ID, since changing that would have cut off existing users
from future updates.
I guess the best solution is to use their colours in the logo and hope that
this + the name is a powerful hint to people.
