yes, but you did that for major xbmc releases, question is whether we are
allowed to do it during a release cycle.

the skin settings reset was a one-timer and of course not the perfect
solution, but bitterly needed to have a clean skin bool layout. would be a
compromise to only disallow that in the future during a release cycle...
