I like the tabbed version more. 

Tabs provide an overview of what options exist and allow immediate access. I 
like that. 
These 'MORE' buttons are very microsoftish-windowish, they take you somewhere 
without telling you where, unless you hit them. Once you hit them more than 
once, you cannot be sure how deep a level you are on, and whether 'back', 
'close' or 'less' is the right way home, and will 'less' get you back without 
saving your changes and will 'close' do it? I dislike that. 

As far as I have learned on UI design, it is always wise to tell a user 
precisely what a UI element will do, before he activates it. It avoids 
confusion and makes the user feel he's in control.
