that's not particularly true - you can subscribe to some topics (which you are 
interested in) and you will be notified about each new post in that thread.

But we need to tweek a lot of details of our new forum (especially the 
user-rights), so please be a little patient and give us a feedback, so we can 
tune the forum "as you wish" :)
