I always found this hard to do, though. May I suggest a different approach on info box confiuration? What if the user would first choose a location for the boxes he wants to see, and then ticks check boxes in what flight mode they are to be visible? Two boxes could still be sharing a place, only the flight mode check box would need to be greyed out for one box as long as another box is occupying the same space and time. I find this much more intuitive.
