The way I accomplish to keep common infoboxes in the same place is through "Copy" and "Paste". My Cruise configuration is good for most cases. So I take a "Copy" of it and then select the "AUX-1" configuration. There I "Paste" the infoboxes (from the Cruise screen) and select the content the few boxes that I want to be different on that screen. I'm happy with that approach.
