Thanks for your comments, I got it now! Set Baudrate to 19200, and Config/Config/System, Device A: "Name of the Bt Device", Driver: generic, Device B: deactivated. Ceck at Config/Config/Config/Nmea: Generic on Bluetooth (adr.) connected; GPS Fix; Flarm
I tested at home uploading a Flarm test file from some former posts via serial port and terminalprogram (Zoc) to the Bt device, with 19200 as binary-file (not text-file). After pairing the Bt with the Android XCsoar plays like real. Flarm Radar and Traffic is displayed when Flarm traffic appears. I will do some cablework and then check it at the glider, but I don't expect further problems now. (so you need gps reception) To make sure that you have connection to the Flarm tap, config, config, config, devices. It should recognise the Flarm and actually display Flarm in the android even if it does not have gps reception. I am connecting my streak to an ozflarm via ioio and I use the Power/data port at 19200 If your power/data port is already used you can piggyback on the Flarm GND and Tx wires and link to your Gnd and Rx Bluetooth, it does not need the Flarm Rx to see the traffic. (unless you want to declare a task from your Android into your Flarm) Run the Flarmtool on your flarm and make sure you have enabled Navigation and Flarm It is a bit of mucking around to get it working but it is well worth when it works. You should connect it to the other connector instead using a Y-cable. In addition to that the data-port specification says that traffic data will only be supplied to the NMEA stream if the configured baudrate is equal or above 19200. That means that even though connected to the Flarm as a GPS source it might not transfer and show the traffic in XCSoar. I don't know what the Flarm is actually sending over the extension port but the external displays usually don't care about the GPS position but only about the relative distances to others. I would guess that the Flarm is only sending the traffic sentences on the extension port and not the other GPS data which XCSoar usually requires.
