My apologies! You're absolutely right: the first decision to make is whether
to make the change, not how.

Tinny included the CVS issue in the Against section of the summary, and I
think I contributed to the confusion by commenting on the version control
issue in the message in which I voted. I didn't include the issue in my
thinking about the vote, and I didn't intend to encourage anyone else to do
so.

Hold on! I think some people are answering the wrong question. The
question is not (yet) "how do you want to implement the renaming?" But
simply "do you want to rename the include dir?"
Iff we decide to rename it, then we should discuss the pros and cons of
the different ways to implement it, and we may want to vote on this
again. But people shouldn't vote against the renaming because they are
against a particular way of implementing it.
