Sorry I wasn't clear. You need to run Tomcat to at least see the problem. Then change the jar file. The problem will go away. That's bad...seems nobody is able to fix that problem. I'm 99% sure it is not a Tomcat bug since Xerces 2.1.0 & Crimson works fine. The Struts' jar file did not change since a while.....The Struts team have removed their 80 characters line in Stuts 1.1 to workaround that problem. I guest we will have to stay Xerces 2.1 until somebody find a better way to reproduce the problem. I spend more that 1 month on that strange bug....
