I didn't have any problems with RH 8.0. I installed a clean system and all the updates so RH8 was as correct as possible. Then I made a directory for X4.3 and checked it out of the repository with CVS. Next I ran the makeworld and install scripts. Everything seemed to work right out of the box so to speak. Well, I had a struggle with the X config file because of the radeon 9000 card I'm running.
However, if this procedure DOESN'T work for YOU, I can't help because I'm not very good at Linux, just lucky. I'd say just try it out, but be ready to reinstall your system... > [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > Has anyone installed 4.3 on Redhat?
