You have two options: 1) Upgrade to XFree86 4.3. While this chip is supposed to be supported in 4.2, I have reports that many newer revisions of it do not work correctly with it. It should work fine with 4.3. 2) Use NVIDIA's binary drivers available from: http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=linux_display_archive I recommend version 3123 because 4191 has some problems. Those drivers should work fine with XFree86 4.2 or 4.3.
