Cori-

"As a developer, I would much rather deal with only
 one DTD for all versions
 of X12 for all transactionsets"

Your statement is true, if you only wanted to deal
with the transformation of the data to/from XML to
EDI. However, the Netfish Solution is much more than
this. It gives one the power to create data maps
using the Netfish XDI Mapper to adhere to Trading
Partner Implementation Guidelines. Using the generic
DTD solution where one DTD fits all, you cannot give
control to the user to map data.

So, not only do we at Netfish provide great workflow
and superior RosettaNet support, we also provide
excellent compatibility to trading partners who want
to use EDI to trade with their entire trading partner
community and create data maps to adhere to those
trading partners Implementation Guidelines.

Netfish has not just looked at the picture from a
development standpoint. Netfish provides a complete
customer oriented solution. For more information
regarding Netfish, please see the Netfish website at
www.netfish.com.
