Try the XEDI Translator for the quickest solution.
Mercator provides EDI->XML and XML->EDI capabilities.
Mercator+XEDI and Netfish+XEDI will work well with Java applications.

Subject: Tools to move EDI documents to XML Format

1) What tools have you seen that facilitates changing an EDI document into
an XML document. (and inversely, XML to EDI.)
2) What tools have you seen that continue that process and send the XML
document to Java to be worked on.

We have looked at OnDisplay/Vignette and others, but one of the problems is
that there is no EDI validation/error checking in these tools. I was
wondering if EDI Vendors have come up with some solutions. I would like to
find an 'integrated' tool. I can always hobble together a group of tools,
but the probability of failures increase.(i.e. data going into the black
hole)

Thanks

Rick Tucker
