yes, I agree that we require a data mapping to put the EDI data
ultimately in the ERP, but i think that the NetFish product should
be seen as two stages, first stage being the transformer which transformes
the EDI file to an XML file which don't use an edi mapping but uses
the metadata from the disa edi standard. once the edi file is translated
to xml file, the XDI Server uses the data mapping to put the data
in the ERP. The first stage is similar to the XEDI translator but
lots of EDI validations are done in netfish product.
