I've been traveling for the last few days and thus am behind in email.
I believe that Stanley has responded. I encourage you to get involved
with the WEDi SNIP efforts and to keep informed, especially, regarding
the sequencing work group's efforts on the sequence/timing for
implementation. Of course, the drop dead date is still 10/16/2002.

Hi Rachael and Folks ,
I have learnt a lot by reading others postings. I had some questions
on EDI
as related to HIPAA.
Pardon me if this seems very trivial.
1. I know there is a timeline for adoption of the HIPAA standards.
Is there a time line for adoption of each kind of record type.
I mean a relative priorIty of 834/835 , 270/271 etc.
2. What is the status of 274 provider record.
Are there any other provider data interchange records besides 274
in the pipeline ??
