Please use the ``table editor'' found in the DocBook menu. See http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/docbook/docbook_menu.html [1] Click anywhere (even deep inside) inside a cell. [2] Use "DocBook|Column|Insert After" to insert a new column after the one containing the ``selected cell''. Same for a row (of course, you need to use the "DocBook|Row" submenu). Note that the DocBook menu has a "Cell" submenu which makes it easy merging and splitting cells.
