Dear Hussein,

I admit that 50 euro is probably too little for such a magnificent piece of
software. But I guess there are many people who don't really need things
like MathXML or don't need, or even don't have an idea how to, write an
extension function in Java. They just use XXE for simple data entry using
DocBook, XHTML or their own schemas or DTDs. They probably do so because
they simply believe there is no better XML editor under the sun (!). Why
can't they have their "Standard" version for a lower price? If 50 euro is
unrealistic, calculate what you believe is an acceptable price. I don't know
how many people are actually using the free Standard version but if most of
them could be persuaded to buy it for anything less than the 220 euro,
perhaps they would create more income for you than the more demanding users
who need the functionalities of the Pro version.

Best wishes,

Mariusz Idzikowski
