It seems that this key binding (Esc n) does not work when one is editing
attributes -- nor does any of the key bindings which I have created to enter
special characters (like a macron). The character input window seems to have
the same limitation.
I can copy and paste words with special characters into the attribute field
(which is rather tedious) and I can enter them directly using my Windows IME
alright but I can't enter them with XXE's on-board tools. Am I missing
something or is this a known limitation?
