XXE has many ways to set user preferences without asking the user to launch the interactive application. For example: * -putprefs property_file_or_URL command-line option. See http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/help/command_line_usage.html * the XXE_USER_PREFERENCES environment variable. See http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/help/environment_variables.html Please first try to use one of the above facilities in your working environment and if you find problems or limitations with them (e.g. it does not work with convertdoc; it does not work with Java Web Start; etc), please be kind enough to file a bug report. -- XMLmind XML Editor Support List [email protected] http://www.xmlmind.com/mailman/listinfo/xmleditor-support
