   I don't see anything about a Mystique in the log file.

   I don't see anything wrong in the server output, and nothing
obviously wrong about the XF86Config file.  Are you sure that's
the config file that's being used?  The server is reading it
from /etc/X11/XF86Config-4. 

   What's the output of "xdpyinfo" say?
