   David are you sure this only happens with Xinerama?  I don't
know much about xft but if it's using the font server it could
be a bug in xft, in the font server or the tt renderer.  Given
all the problems we've had with any of those, I'm not surprised
there are still some bugs.  But I wouldn't expect this to be
Xinerama dependent.
