Sure, with Option "XaaNoCPUToScreenColorExpandFill" or "XaaNoScanlineCPUToScreenColorExpandFill" (from man XF86Config-4). > When running in a resolution lower than the laptop native resolution, I > do not want the display to be scaled to the entire screen, which is what > this XAA feature apparently does. It doesn't, as you'll find out when trying these options. :) That feature is mainly used to accelerate the drawing of monochrome text. As for the mode scaling, I'm not aware of a way to turn that off; what's the behaviour you'd like to achieve? -- Earthling Michel Dnzer (MrCooper)/ Debian GNU/Linux (powerpc) developer XFree86 and DRI project member / CS student, Free Software enthusiast _______________________________________________ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert
