I finally figured out why I could not get this to work  The wiki states that
file libpcsclite.so had to
be replaced.  I thought that meant I had to install the latest pkcs-lite
package.  Once I figured out
that I had to change to the xrdp/sesman/chansrv/pcsc directory, then run make
to create the xrdp
version of libpcsclite.so, then copy that file to /usr/lib/libpcslite.so.1
everything started working.

I am getting a few debug messages out of libpcsclite.so, perhaps because I am
testing using a PIV
smartcard.  I deleted lines 159-160, 222 and 668 in file xrdp.pcsc.c to get rid
of the messages.

I tested with the 0.8 and the current git versions.  I used the OpenSSH
client/server with X509 patches to
use X509 certificate authentication using the certificate/private key located
on the PIV smartcard.

I used the Microsoft Widows 7 mstsc to open a remote window to CentOS 6.5 for
testing.  I now plan to
test on Ubuntu 12.1 and OpenSuse 13.1 systems.

Great Product!

Smart-card support is only in v0.8.  We tested with rdesktop and
mstsc.  All applications I could find worked.  Even some Firefox
plugins.  Thanks to Gustavo for helping to test this.

Also, you need to replace libpcsclite.so

v0.8 is in beta now.

I have a wiki here that I can expand on.  I'll explain what you need
to do to use it.
