Most of the ornaments on our tree are hand-stitched, either cross-stitch or
crochet. The others are gifts from friends and the front/center ornament is a
pottery angel made by my son in elementary school.

I don't mind doing French knots, but I often substitute beads. I like the
texture change and the shine of the beads. Besides, I had tons of beads left
over from kits. Got to use them up somehow. LOL
