Hi Tina,
I have substituted seed beads for french knots and have gotten great
results..In fact, I think the beads look better than the knots in some cases.
I have also taken cross-stitch charts and did them entirely in beads and have
had great results. Also, I took a small ornament that I did last year of a
Christmas tree and put in a few beads with the stitching and it looked like
ornaments on the tree...
