Answer me this:

Once you finish it, do you have plans to frame, mount, (whatever) and
display it? 
Do you know what room you will display it in? (anything like guest
room, or less than 'living quarters' counts as 'NO')
Will you give to someone as a gift?
Do you know who?
Will you look back in 20 years and regret not having that completed
piece in your possession (or possession of a friend/relative)?

Look at your answers above to determine "Should you finish it?"
