<< Have any of you ever started a project that you just were not sure you
wanted
 to finish? >>

Well....yes..... :)

I can think of two right now. One was a horrid "no-count" XS kit that I had
bought years ago (back before I knew how to do counted...LOL!). It was on
black aida (double ick!) and the stamped part of the picture had been put on
crooked so there was no good way to complete the XS part of the design
properly without doing tons of quarter stitches (on black aida, remember!
<g>) So after about ten minutes of that I said "nope" and threw it back into
the stash pile. It's still in there I suspect, and I really ought to throw it
out (I can't bear the thought of inflicting it on anyone else, all it would
do is give a great distaste for stitching to someone else!). The other is a
woefully miscounted piece I started a few years back. Once I had decided that
half of it was miscounted and that there really wasn't a good way for me to
recover from this particular set of miscounts, I put it aside. Now this
project I do intend to do one day, but even though I had this piece half
finished at the time I gave up, I think I'll start it all over again. I was
never happy with the color choice of the fabric I used, and it'll be easier
to start fresh with new fabric than try to remember where the miscounts were
and rip out half the stitching.

Never thought of taking scissors to it...hm...that might be therapeutic...<g>

I'm sure I have other projects I'll never finish...but I have tons more that
still need to be started. I wouldn't waste time anymore on something I
disliked...too many fun things out there to do! :)
