Except you can manipulate raw text in a variable also. StyledText and
htmlText are certainly mutually exclusive; serious benefits are applicable
to each. My only question is why not simply upgrade the application of raw
text as is with styled text and keep the same language? Also allow
styledText to be kept intact in variables? There will, perhaps, be some
cross-platform issues to accommodate but a basic raft of supported styles
would be more than welcome.

or "set the styledText of [chunk1] to the the styledText of [chunk2]"
