I don't think so. This implies to me that "styledText" is just like
any other property and so you could do things like put it into a
variable, write it to a file, etc. But I don't see why you need a
"property" at all if you're going to add this feature to the copy
command:
copy char 1 to 100 field 1 into field 2
Using "before" or "after" with this gets a little icky, though.

PS: as for people who are asking that style information be kept in
variables, you're dreaming. Implementation of virtually every
command, function, and keyword would have to be altered to preserve
style information. Off the top of my head, the only practical way I
can think of to do it would be to expand every character into a long,
which would expand everything by 4 and cut performance by about that
much.
