Well, I often start to commit from the inventory buffer. Then I display the changes to see the modifications to describe them. So I see two scenarios: 1. Start the commit from the inventory buffer Display the changes 2. Display the changes Open the commit log from the changes buffer Now we support both ways. We should not drop one of them. Stefan.
